ABOUT
PD Geostructures was founded in 2020, expanding upon the reputable design practice Piledesigns Ltd. Since then, the business has grown into an established multi-disciplinary design practice in the ground engineering sector. The company boasts a comprehensive team of full time Engineers offering over 100 years of combined experience.
This vast amount of specialist experience sees the company offer design and support services to many areas of the ground engineering / construction sector, be it contractor, engineer or client, both in the UK and internationally.
The company prides itself in finding the complete solution that offers risk mitigation, build-ability and economic benefits to its clients.

Temporary Works
Appraisal of a proposed development to ascertain temporary works requirements for below and above ground elements, where possible incorporating temporary works within the permanent works solution. Engaging with PD Geostructures Ltd will give an independent robust assessment of temporary works options. We can also undertake CAT2 and CAT3 checks

Piled and Traditional Foundations
Design services for a range of foundation solutions covering all piling types and ground bearing solutions. Bespoke solutions cover piled raft slabs, pile & beam, pilecaps, strip & pad footings. Our services can include assessment of site specific conditions to mitigate risks associated with desiccation, dissolution, flooding, trees, topography and ground gases. Designs are carried out to the latest codes & standards using up to date geo-structural software packages
Basements
Design service for open site and retrofit basements, including both piled and underpinned retaining structures. Full analysis of the construction sequence for temporary and permanent conditions. Geotechnical and structural design work carried out to the latest standard and codes

Design services for a range of specialist foundations, including crane bases, pylon bases and temporary structures
Superstructure Design
Complimenting our foundation design solution packages, we can also incorporate superstructure designs for a project. Designs can be undertaken for reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber elements providing reinforcement detailing and structural steel connection & fabrication details
2D/3D Geostructural FEA
All designs are undertaken to current codes and standards, using appropriate software packages for each project. 2D and 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling is used to optimise design solutions
